  • History:

  • Galen Marek was born to two veteran Jedi of the Clone Wars. His parents fled before Order 66 was enacted, & his birth wasn't known to Imperial Intelligence.

  • He was close with both Kento & Mallie, & the Wookies adored Galen too. But the Empire was not fair with the Wookies. His parents trained & worked with a local militia fighting back the non-sentient status laid upon the Wookie species.

  • Mallie was on patrol when she acted to save lives. Trandoshan slavers, capture tribes of Wookies for their strong labour capabilities. She saved many Wookies, but at the cost of her life. Galen felt great pain for the first time that day, and her death cut him deeply.

  • Her death though revealed Jedi was present on Kashyyyk & launched an invasion Kento Marek fought bravely & took on Vader himself, but the Sithlord crushed the Jedi under his power.

  • Galen defiantly tried to protect his father, summoning Vader's lightsaber to himself, but he became perceived by fear. He watched his father die & became a ward of the Sith Lord.

  • He lived in darkness, taught to turn fear into anger & anger into power.

  • He was a tool of the Sith Lord, incorporating pleasing Vader as a part of his existence.

  • A primal warrior, Galen was tasked with destroying the Sith's ancient enemy, the surviving Jedi. Along the way, Galen learned more about himself & the force than he ever thought.

Verses

verse: the children of the force
Galen Marek has been usurped from command of the rebel cells he united.
rightly so, he stepped aside only for the council to be meet with indecision and strife. galen has such committed himself to the force and the way of the jedi.
this involves going on missions to intercept and strike back at the inquisitors. the children of the force are being hunted by the inquisitor and empire, so galen has become a protector for many.

The Last Brother
This is a Rebels/Disney Canon verse.
Galen was trained by Vader as his apprentice yes, but he has a cover identity known as The Last Brother.
As the Last Brother, he conducts ventures for Vader and sometimes he needs to work with the Empire. So he takes the mantle of Last Brother in the Inquisitor’s organization to gain a better understanding of the Imperial military.
While under this role he does not use his powers to the full extend

Embracing his Jedi heritage, Galen Marek floats his tim between Yavin IV, Kashyyck and missions for the Jedi Order. He has yet to take on an apprentice, but he has carried the flame of hope that is the Jedi.
